ABOUT Msthonia

Mrs Tonia Omolopo is an Early Childhood Educator, author, and play advocate from Nigeria. Over a decade ago, she stepped into a classroom and hasn’t looked back since. 

Msthonia is committed to helping develop wholesomely through play. Her mission is to raise an army of change agents who would reform and redefine Early childhood education, one teacher, one class, one school, one state, one country, one continent at a time.

When she is not in the classroom, she is either at home, sitting on a couch watching ‘Friends’ for the one millionth time or  creating physical and digital resources on her website ‘bloomncuddles.com’ or sharing educational content on Instagram (@msthonia) and YouTube (bloomncuddles).

ABOUT Patience

Patience Osinaike is an experienced early childhood educator, swim instructor, child safeguarding officer, and community engagement leader trained and certified by notable institutions in Nigeria and the United States of America. Her work focuses on advocating for accessible and quality early childhood education, creating awareness about child safeguarding issues and protection challenges, effective teacher training, parent education and support, and child protection community-based programmes.

She is an award-winning child protection advocate and global speaker who volunteers her time to work with local and international non-profit organisations focused on quality education, teachers’ empowerment, child safety, family protection, and community development.

She currently hosts the Child Safeguarding and Protection Radio Show every Saturday on Jordan 105.5 FM in Lagos, Nigeria, which has a listenership of over 3 million. Patience is the founder of the Early Years Learning Initiative (a subsidiary of the Early Years Learning Network Ltd.), a global community that supports teachers, parents, and carers to raise a child who will develop holistically, enjoy a beautiful and rich early safe start in life, and grow into an amazing adult who will be a positive change-maker in society. She speaks Yoruba and English and enjoys swimming as a favourite hobby.

ABOUT Thelma

My name is Empress Thelma Igwe the anointed teacher, I’m the lead Consultant and Director Learning Support Academy under which I have Angels Haven for sales of special needs resources

I am a learning Interventionist coach, learning difficulty consultant and expert, a certified Austism Specialist and ABA therapist.

I have International Certification in ChildCare Education and Jolly Phonics, also a certified Special Needs Educator  with focus on Learning Disability, Austism Spectrum Disorder & ADHD.

I have been a professional and practicing teacher and therapist for 17years.

I’m an author with 5 books on Special needs help and The Gifted hands workbook (Ben Carson) also an authorized Twinkl resources publisher



Day 2: The Teacher

ABOUT Faith

Ojone Faith Aduku is a versatile professional with extensive experience in education, project management, and event coordination. As the founder of iCreate Education and an internationally certified educational consultant, she empowers educators and institutions to excel through personal development and innovative solutions.

Ojone also shines as a dedicated Self-Identity Coach, guiding individuals on a transformative journey of self-discovery and enhancing self-confidence. Her personalized coaching creates a supportive space for clients to explore their unique identities, set meaningful goals, and overcome challenges. With a track record of national and global recognition, she’s celebrated as “The teacher’s teacher,” having mentored over 500 emerging professional teachers.

Currently, Ojone serves as a consultant and talent manager with an Edtech platform in Abuja, she leads the Educational League of Professionals and is the head of programs and strategy with the Transformers League of Professionals and the head of operation with a growing NGO. She is the host of the Educator’s series, where she shares her vast knowledge and experiences with a global audience.

ABOUT Danica

Danica has been involved in early childhood education for a little over 15 years including working in early learning centres, classroom teaching, university tutoring/lecturing and supervising preservice teachers on their teaching placements.

In this time, she has come to find that there’s a clear need for a shift in the way that we think about, approach and support children’s behaviours and emotional development.

Through Little Bloom, Danica hopes to support teachers to transform their practice through shifts in mindset, deep understandings of behaviour and building a toolkit to support behaviour.

ABOUT Ms.Betty

Akintunde Akinsola, director and founder of Learning Spree, an educational
development hub, is an award-winning educator, tech strategist, STEAM
enthusiast, school head, school growth strategist, teacher, and advocate for
teacher-student connection. A graduate of Educational Management and
Primary Education. A certified Google and Microsoft educator amongst others.

Akintunde has been at the helm of school leadership for eight years and
counting. Helping to start and grow schools into formidable and international
standard learning spaces within these years. Akintunde has also taught at
various levels of the educational spectrum, spanning a period of twelve years,
professionally. Akin teaches with a purpose to capture moments that would
inspire and showcase the teaching profession in a new and different light to
students, fellow educators, would be educators, and the world at large.

I’m Jessica, and I’m deeply passionate about fostering creativity and sensory play in early childhood environments. As the owner of ‘The Artful Child,’ a cherished family art hub spanning 50 years, I’ve dedicated myself to creating nurturing environments for young minds to thrive. My focus is on process art and learning through play. We’ve now expanded our mission to include workshops and a digital course for fellow educators, where we share insights on transforming classrooms into vibrant creative spaces. My belief is that children learn best when they engage all their senses, and with a rich array of materials, play becomes a powerful vehicle for growth.
